1. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens – If you’re not from South Florida, chances are you might not have heard of this piece of luxury real estate. Surrounded by ten acres of lush gardens, Rockland hammock, and mangrove shoreline, Vizcaya is a breathtaking estate that sits on Biscayne Bay – a true photographer’s dream. You can enjoy the natural beauty of the estate and stop in for a bite to eat at the Café. Don’t forget your cameras (or phones) when going to one of the best places in Miami.
2. Wynwood Walls– Wynwood is one of the city’s most visited districts by both locals and out-of-towners alike. This outdoor museum showcases large scale works by some highly regarded street artists. All surrounding streets and many warehouses have been converted to art galleries, breweries, restaurants, bars, and more. Wynwood is also home to Art Basel – an exclusive art fair that attracts people from around the globe including some of your favorite celebs!
3. Bayside Marketplace – Located in downtown Miami, this open-air, two-story outdoor shopping center is nestled within Biscayne Bay and the Miami Marina offering natural stunning views. You can find shops, restaurants, boat tours, and you’re within walking distance to the American Airlines Arena. Bayside is actually acknowledged as the most visited attraction in Miami according to the Greater Miami Convention & Visitor’s Bureau.
4. Zoological Wildlife Foundation – Calling all animal lovers! ZWF Miami provides a rare experience as they specialize in guided wildlife tours, with… get this… HANDS-ON interactions! This zoo is appointment-only and you can find over 40 exotic species.
5. Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park – An Iconic Florida State Park that boasts stunning views and occupies the southern part of Key Biscayne Island. If you love a good lighthouse – then Bill Baggs is definitely a spot worth visiting. Better known as the Cape Florida Light, it’s the oldest standing structure in Dade County. That’s impressive!
